“Liquid Evil” is the title of a 2016 book by the Lithuanian philosopher Leonidas Donskis, written in collaboration with the Polish-British sociologist Zygmunt Bauman. In it, they describe how, in our deregulated societies, evil is no longer confined to clearly defined ideologies, but exists in a diffuse form and can be found everywhere in hyper individualism, deregulated markets and diminsihing solidarity.
